BioUP

BioUP works in four European heritage territories: Ibiza (UNESCO World Heritage), Moura-Mourão-Barrancos in Portugal, Langhe-Roero and Monferrato in Italy, and the Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve in Latvia.

At Juntos, we are leading the work on connecting science and community. This means mapping the research already under way on Ibiza's biodiversity and opening it up to residents through citizen science. The farm helps build a visual record of the island's flora and fauna, running  local awareness campaigns and sharing experience with partners in the other three regions.

BioUP is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ KA220-ADU. It is coordinated by Herdade da Contenda (Portugal) with ADCMoura (Portugal), Sugo Design (Portugal), La Bricula ODV (Italy), Vidzeme Planning Region (Latvia) and Juntos Farm (Spain).
