Self-Consumption Solar Installation Project at Juntos Farm
Juntos Farm has received a grant from the Balearic Islands Government's Ministry of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, funded by the European Union's NextGenerationEU Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for the installation of renewable energy on our farm in Sant Joan de Labritja.
With this funding, we have installed a 72 kW photovoltaic system. The 120 rooftop modules will generate more than 105,000 kWh per year, significantly reducing our dependence on the electricity grid and our carbon footprint.
The project also included the removal of the asbestos-cement roof, a further step in our commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
Project part of the incentive programme linked to self-consumption and storage, using renewable energy sources within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
